The Sweetness of You

Inspired by Pesta Rakyat Pabrik Gula by Lair Band, this work captures the simple euphoria behind the hard labor of the people. Amid the heat and the dust of sugarcane, laughter bursts — as if the sweetness of sugar is born from their own sweat. It’s a portrait of Indonesia: weary yet warm, always finding a reason to celebrate life.
