This painting was born from a moment of longing — the kind that sits deep in your chest, where desire and hesitation meet. When I painted Caught In Between, I felt the pull of something I wanted but knew I couldn’t reach without breaking something else. The red sky carries the weight of emotion I couldn’t name — love, loss, maybe both. The golden moon became a symbol of everything I was yearning for: warm, close, almost within touch, yet impossibly distant. Beneath it, the city stands half in light, half in shadow — a reflection of my own state of mind. Every stroke was a conversation with myself — between what I wanted and what I knew I had to let go of. The colors bleed into each other like emotions that refuse to stay separate. Caught In Between is not just about longing; it’s about the quiet pain of knowing that sometimes, choosing peace means walking away from what sets your heart on fire.
