I wanted to capture the emotions that move quietly beneath the surface — the rise and fall we feel but rarely speak about. The blue forms in Inner Tide became the language of that inner movement, reflecting moments of connection and solitude blending into each other. The curves suggest shifting states within me, like two presences merging and separating, shaped by memories and relationships that continue to leave their marks. The bold black lines are my boundaries and truths, while the small white strokes feel like soft confessions — tiny pieces of healing. To me, the painting mirrors a tide: constantly pulling inward for reflection, then pushing outward toward change. Inner Tide became my way of tracing those unseen currents — the emotional flow that shapes who I am and who I’m still becoming.
