When I created Crossroad, I was caught between staying and walking away—a place where emotions pull in opposite directions and nothing feels clear. The purples trace that uncertainty: looping thoughts, softened memories, and the quiet tension of holding on when part of you is already letting go. The red shapes burst through without planning, like truth breaking out of the confusion. They’re the moments of honesty you can’t ignore anymore—the part of you that finally admits, “Something has to change.” As the layers built, I realized I wasn’t painting a decision, but the moment right before it—the hesitation, the ache, the weight of choosing between two futures. Crossroad is that suspended moment: the breath before the truth, the pull between leaving and staying, the heart standing right at the edge of becoming.
